Every year, the Academy of Arts and Communications takes on the responsibility of presenting the Joliet West Variety Show. In the past, it has been an entertaining evening full of talent and laughs. This will be the academy’s fifth year hosting the event. Be sure to save the date of January 19, 2011, so you can see for yourself what it’s all about.
Both teachers and students of Joliet West will be performing throughout the evening. Mr. Gibson, Mr. Carroll, Mr. Conard, and Mrs. Marszalek are among several teachers who have signed up to participate. Over 20 acts are scheduled to be featured in the upcoming show. Attendees will see many different performances ranging from singing and dancing to a magic act.
The evening will begin at 6:30 PM and is expected to last approximately two hours. Tickets will cost $6 at the door. Mrs. Meyer, one of the teachers in charge of planning, said, “We are hoping that we have a packed house and that everyone enjoys the show!”
