October is full of fall festivities and spooky activities. Halloween is the most exciting part of October, kids love going out trick or treating, teens love Halloween parties and adults love watching scary movies if not trick or treating with their kids. Movies come out all the time but the BEST ones come out in October. What’s better than staying inside out of the cold, eating popcorn, drinking hot chocolate and watching scary movies. This month brings a lot of exciting movies to watch. 

Venom: Let There Be Carnage was released October 1, 2021. Eddie Brock is still struggling to coexist with the shape-shifting extraterrestrial Venom. When deranged serial killer Cletus Kasady also becomes host to an alien symbiote, Brock and Venom must put aside their differences to stop his reign of terror. If you haven’t seen Venom in 2018 then you wouldn’t understand how this one came about. Venom is a black allion that was in a lab and Eddie Brock was a journalist that was doing a report and studying on the experiment that caused Venom and Eddie to become one and became a perfect match for each other.

Dune: The cast of this movie is snatching eyes just by the trailer. The starring cast includes; Zendaya and Timothee. There is a lot of action that occurs and seeking to find one’s journey.  “Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence, only those who can conquer their own fear will survive”. – Denis Villeneuve. Dune will be released October 22, 2021 in your local theaters. 

Coming Home In The Dark: This movie was released on October 1, 2021. Starring Daniel Gillies (Mandrake), Matthias Luafutu (Tubs), Miriama McDowell (Jill), Erik Thomson (Hoaggie), Billy Paratene (Maika),  Frankie Paratene (Jordan). The movie sets a dark tone with the settings that are chosen. Mandrake and Jill took their family on a trip but little did they know there would be evil people with bad attention for them. Hiking on a hill isn’t safe for just anyone and they are about to find out. The family runs into two strangers that want to know about his past life but they do more than just get answers out of him. “Ruthless drifters take a school teacher and his family on a nightmarish road trip that forces the man to confront his past self.”- James Ashcroft. 

Even though there are many movies to be released here are some scary and action movies to check out. If you’re staying home and don’t know what to watch then here you go.
