Throughout the school, many students can be seen sporting the breast cancer awareness bracelet. This sports season, the senior class committee has decided to add to the trend and sell bracelets of similar style.

Mr. Ndoca, the announcer at every basketball game and sports assembly, has recently designed spirit bracelets. The writing on the bracelet will read (as feautured in the picture below) “I (paw print) Tigers.” The bracelet itself will be black, while the lettering will be a bright yellow. Each bracelet will be 1-inch thick, which will make the lettering easier to see from afar.

On April 1, the bracelets can be purchased through Mrs. Walton in B127 or B128. They will be $2.00 apiece. There will only be a limited amount, so be sure to purchase one early. All proceeds will go to help sponsor the Senior Dinner Dance and the Senior Breakfast.

When asked about the new fashion, Mr. Ndoca stated, “I am working hard to boost school spirit and make students proud of their school.” These bracelets will set Joliet West apart from other schools in terms of school spirit. All students should be proud to sport their Tiger gear.
