The NASA starliner was sent into space on June 5, 2024 from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The starliner craft was finished in 2019 with the budget of 5.1 billion dollars spent on its build. Two out of four starliners were sent to orbit the earth, Among the starliners were astronauts Barry ‘Butch’ Wilmore and Suni Williams. On september seventh 2024, the starliner crew decided to stay behind to continue with their work process and the ship returned without them abroad on September 6, 2024 at the White stands space station in New Mexico. The starliner had had a number of issues since its trial launch in 2019 like, software glitches, software communication issues, and helium leaks in the propulsion system (a machine that produces thrust to push an object forward. ). According to NASA the crew is scheduled to return in 2025 with the exact date being unsure. The crew has been orbiting for two hundred and ten days plus. After the arrival of the two person crew they are scheduled to stay at the NASA earth orbiting station for an unanticipated eight months.
