The Joliet West badminton team is the newest addition to our athletic program and they are ready to fight. Coach Marek is leading the Tigers in their first season and she is looking for a team that is ready to compete right at the start of the season. The ex-Steelmen players are going to be leading all of the other teammates that are either not as experienced and will assist in teaching strategy. Coach Marek wants players who want to learn about the game and will help the program grow over the years. One of her main goals is to prove that West has the ability to compete against even the best of the schools. Her hopes for the players are that they will create their own skill levels and push themselves during each practice to gain knowledge and strategy.
