Khadija Cooley is the top shooter here at Joliet West. She was able to showcase her skills in a 3-point shoot out. She advanced all the way to state. Unfortunately she did not qualify for a top four spot. Coach Michaels jokingly blamed all of this on Cooley wearing her unlucky jersey. Although she didn’t make preliminaries, she feels that she will make it farther next year and is determined to get better.
